The Wolf Among Us 2 is the sequel to The Wolf Among Us, an episodic graphic adventure game.
The game is being created in collaboration with AdHoc Studio, which was founded by former Telltale Games employees. AdHoc Studio will work on the game’s story and cinematic aspects, while Telltale will execute the gameplay and other ideas.
Unlike the previous Telltale production cycle strategy, in which each episode was produced separately, all episodes of The Wolf Among Us 2 are being developed concurrently. This is a fables series in the Graphic adventure genre and also the single-player mode.

Wolf Among Us | Gameplay
The Wolf Among Us is a visual adventure game played in the third person. Bigby Wolf, the protagonist, must investigate a sequence of strange killings. The player explores numerous three-dimensional locations throughout the game, such as residential complexes and a pub.
When exploring an environment, the player may come across an object with which they may interact; in this case, they must move the cursor over the object to choose and inspect it. Items of interest are saved in an inventory and can later be utilized in the plot.
The player can also converse with non-player characters, with the results shown in the form of dialogue trees. The dialogue options made throughout discussions will also have an impact on whether other characters see Bigby, and their views will impact upcoming scenarios in the plot.

The Wolf Among Us takes place in 1986, about two decades before the events of Fables. For decades, the Adversary, an inscrutable dictator portrayed in fable, folklore, and mythology, has inhabited many of the magical countries depicted in myth, legend, and folklore (known as The Homelands).
To flee the Adversary’s authoritarian control, several of The Homelands’ residents (known collectively as Fables) migrated to colonial America and established Fabletown, which is now situated in contemporary Manhattan.
To hide their existence from the local humans (referred to as “mundys”), any non-human Fables must acquire a “glamour” enchantment that allows them to seem human, or they would be moved to a remote hamlet known as “The Farm.”
Bigby Wolf (Adam Harrington), previously the Big Bad Wolf, is the protagonist of The Wolf Among Us. Bigby Wolf, formerly known as the Big Bad Wolf, is the Sheriff of Fabletown, a secret society of fairytale creatures in 1980s New York City.

Wolf Among Us 2 | Is It Cancelled?
Telltale states in May 2018 that the sequel will delay as of now until 2019 owing to recent internal company difficulties. Telltale announced a full studio shutdown in September 2018 owing to “insurmountable problems,” canceling The Wolf Among Us’ second season and other projects in production.

Wolf Among Us 2 | Release Date
Telltale Games states in July 2017 that even a second season of The Wolf Among Us is up for release in 2018. However, due to budget constraints, Telltale forces to close its doors in 2018 when LCG Entertainment purchases and brings up all its assets. Among the first original games from such a new firm, doing trade as Telltale Games will be The Wolf Among Us 2, which has been revealed in December 2019.
