About Aquaman

Orm Marius, Orvax’s son (who is now Atlantis’ new ruler after his father went away), and Arthur’s younger half-brother convince King Nereus of Xebel to assist unite Atlantis and destroy the surface world for contaminating the seas. Orm will be called Ocean Master, the head of the planet’s most powerful force, if he unites all four kingdoms.

What Is The Plot For Aquaman 2?
While filming Aquaman (2018), Jason Momoa came up with a narrative concept for a sequel, which he pitched to Warner Bros. Entertainment chairman Toby Emmerich and producer Peter Safran.
Momoa indicated before the film’s release in October 2018 that he would be more involved in the development of a potential sequel, and that filming would begin in 2019. Director James Wan said that the film, which featured seven aquatic kingdoms that had yet to be fully explored, might spawn a slew of spin-off tales.
By the end of January, when Aquaman was on track to become the highest-grossing picture based on a single DC Comics character, Warner Bros. had reached an agreement with Wan to supervise the creation and scripting of a sequel, with the possibility of returning as director.

In early February 2019, Warner Bros. recruited Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald to create the story for The Trench, an Aquaman spin-off film based on one of the kingdoms established in the first film. With Wan and Safran producing, the picture was expected to have a lower budget and not contain the core cast of Aquaman.
Wan, and Momoa wanted to take a “breather” first, but a few days later he reported that active development on a Aquaman sequel had begun, with the first film’s co-writer and frequent Wan collaborator David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick signing on to write the screenplay.
The sequel was scheduled to be produced by Wan and Safran, however it was uncertain if Wan would direct it. Warner Bros. set the release date for Aquaman 2 on December 16, 2022, towards the end of February.

Why Is There A Petition Against Amber Heard?
Following charges of domestic violence levelled against her by her ex-husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard refuted reports in November that she would not be repeating her role as Mera from the previous film.
A petition to get Heard removed from the franchise gathered more than 1.5 million signatures that month, after Warner Bros.’ decision to remove Depp from Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022) after abuse claims published by The Sun were found to be “basically accurate”.
Heard’s comeback was “perfect” for the picture, according to Safran, and they never contemplated doing it without her. He went on to say that they would not respond to the petition’s “pure fan pressure” or other social media dialogues.
