The series returns back after the pandemic situation of COVID- 19. In the 3rd Season of New Amsterdam, the staff acts quickly just to save multiple victims of plane crash. Dr. Kapoor hangs in the balance but nobody knows if he is going to create it. Whereas, Dr. Goodwin calls his colleague named Dr. Floyd Reynolds and asks about help………….
Reynolds surprisingly comes back to New Amsterdam just to save his colleague and friend. Bloom satisfies Frome about his eating habits and mental health.
Max tries to bring Luna home. Sharpe then breaks at the time of filming a PSA. Reynolds communicates with the issues of the family that result in Evie ending. Frome helps a girl whose parents believe that she should not go outside during the pandemic.
Sharpe gets a dis-casting news and tries to overcome from it. Caassian helps her grieve and Max brings Luna home. Then Bloom tries to calm nerves when it comes back to police. At that time, Frome helps a woman who disbelieves about a young man.
Dr. Frome works with a man who was in military. When the blood supply of hospital runs out, Max asks to donate blood. Rests of the major issues are faced by the staff.
Dr. Frome is forced to his limits that seem to be hurt. Later he confronts 2 girls and tries to make sense of it. Max tries to make the hospital one of the best places for everyone and have the medical director position to Dr. Sharpe. The staff tends to so many people who were in accident and one person involved named Superman.
