Altered Carbon is an upcoming sci-fi series based on the novel of the same name by Richard K. Morgan. The show is set in a future where human consciousness can be stored digitally and transferred into new bodies, allowing people to live forever. The series follows Takeshi Kovacs, a former soldier who is brought back to life centuries later to solve a murder.
The cast of Altered Carbon is an exciting mix of established and up-and-coming actors. Joel Kinnaman stars as Takeshi Kovacs, a former soldier who is brought back to life centuries later to solve a murder. He is joined by James Purefoy as Laurens Bancroft, a wealthy businessman who hires Takeshi to solve his own murder. Renée Elise Goldsberry plays Quellcrist Falconer, a revolutionary leader from Takeshi’s past.
Other cast members include Martha Higareda as Kristin Ortega, a police lieutenant who is investigating the murder; Dichen Lachman as Reileen Kawahara, Takeshi’s sister; Chris Conner as Poe, an artificial intelligence; Ato Essandoh as Vernon Elliot, a former soldier; and Will Yun Lee as Takeshi’s former lover, Takashi.
The series is set to be released on Netflix in 2018. It promises to be an exciting and action-packed show, with a great cast and an intriguing premise. We can’t wait to see what the show has in store for us!
Altered Carbon is an American cyberpunk television show and it was made by Laeta Kalogridis and the story is based on the novel with same name from 2002. Altered Carbon is a cyberpunk science fiction series with two seasons on Netflix.
The first season of the show consists of 10 episodes and it was premiered on 2nd of February 2018 and on 27th of July 2018 the series was renewed for the second season with eight episodes in it. Altered Carbon season 2 was released on 27th of February 2020 along with anime movie which was set before the first season.
Mostly the series has received positive response from critics as well as audiences, but still it is cancelled after two seasons by Netflix and makers.
