About “Wandavision”
WandaVision is a Marvel Studios-produced and Disney+-streamed television miniseries. It took place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and involves Marvel Comics characters. Wanda Maximoff (commonly known as the Scarlet Witch) and Vision, two powerful superheroes with amazing talents, attempt to make a life together in the picturesque New Jersey town of Westview.
As the plot progresses, it becomes apparent that things are not as they appear, and that the couple’s seemingly idyllic life in Westview is a synthetic world generated by Wanda’s abilities. The series tackles Wanda’s grief, anguish, and the repercussions of her actions as she battles to accept Vision’s death.

While they attempt to blend in with the other residents of Westview, we observe the pair navigating through several eras of classic comedies, from the 1950s to the 2000s. As the series unfolds, cracks appear in this constructed reality, and the actual world begins to invade, culminating in a climactic conclusion that connects to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.

WandaVision Cast
Elizabeth Olsen played Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, while Paul Bettany played Vision in the film WandaVision, hence the film’s title. Vision is a chimera composed of the artificial intelligence J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron, and the Mind Stone, while Wanda is an Avenger with tremendous telekinetic and telepathic abilities.
Both have made multiple appearances in the MCU, with their relationship developing further in Captain America: Civil War. Yet, as seen in Avengers: Infinity War, once they switched sides, they continued their romance in secret. Thanos’s murder of Vision for the Mind Stone shattered their budding romance in Avengers: Infinity War.
Teyonah Parris, in the role of an older Monica Rambeau (Maria’s daughter and Carol Danvers’ best friend), was also aboard WandaVision. In Captain Marvel, young Monica was last seen (played by Akira Akbar).
The rest of the cast (so far as we know) consists of MCU newcomer Kathryn Hahn as a “nosy neighbor,” Randall Park as FBI agent Jimmy Woo (last seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp), and Kat Dennings as a political science major Darcy Lewis (last seen in Thor and Thor: The Dark World).
