Initially, it was decided that Chris Patt and Anna Faris would star in the film Vacation Friends with director Steve Pink on board. Later it was announced that they were no longer part of this film, and in the month of December, 2019, the new cast along with a new director was announced.
Principal photography for the film began in the month of March, 2020 but suffered a backlash due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The work resumed in September 2020 and concluded within a period of two months.

What Is The Plot Line of The Movie- Vacation Friends?
The movie Vacation Friends follows the story of a straight-laced couple, Marcus and Emily, who meets another wild, thrill-seeking couple, Ron and Kyla, in a resort while on a vacation in Mexico, and they eventually become friends.
