Character friendships are hard to buy into and emotional story beats or tense scenes are constantly undermined by Scanlan making dickjokes or Grog being dumb. This might work in a roleplay setting with mates, but not when trying to follow a very fast moving story on screen.
I do hope they make a longer season 2 with more episodes, so everything and everything gets a little more breathing room.”
