Plot of Succession: Season 3
We learn at the close of season 2 that Tom and Shiv’s marriage is on the rocks, and Roman is named the new COO of Waystar. The highlight, though, is Kendall dropping a bombshell during the press conference that completely alters the game for Logan and Waystar.
It had been determined that Kendall would bear the brunt of the company’s missteps. Instead, he decides to expose his father, calling him a liar and a bully in public.
The third season will take up season two, starting with a feud between father and son that may engulf the entire family in flames. Logan is in a vulnerable position, and he will go to any length to safeguard the future of his family and his company.
Cast of Succession: Season 3
While all of the Roys and Roy-adjacents are expected to return for Season 3. Also we can expect to see a bunch of new people hanging out and (probably) causing trouble. In January, it was revealed that Sanaa Lathan, Linda Emond, Jihae, and Hope Davis would all be joining the cast in recurring roles.
- Lathan will play Lisa Arthur, a well-known and well-connected New York lawyer.
- Jihae will portray Berry Schneider, a public relations expert.
- Emond will play Michelle-Anne Vanderhoven, a White House worker.
- Davis will play Sandi Furness, daughter of Logan’s longtime rival.
- According to multiple reports, Adrien Brody will also appear in the show as Josh Aaronson, a millionaire activist who becomes embroiled in the family’s internal warring and becomes “pivotal in the struggle for Waystar.”
- Alexander Skarsgard is joining the cast of Season 3 in a recurring guest role as Lukas Matsson, a combative CEO and tech founder who falls in love with the Roys on a regular basis.
In addition, Justine Lupe, David Rasche, and Fisher Stevens, who have all previously featured in this television series, have been promoted to series regulars for the third season.

Release Date of Succession: Season 3
Concerning Season 3, the good news is that it was granted the green light on August 20, 2019. However, the production crew had to cope with too much uncertainty, which is presumably why a premiere date has not yet been revealed. The filming schedule suffered greatly as a result of the COVID-19 delays.
The fourth season was planned to begin production in Spring 2020 but could only commence in late 2020. Therefore, we may expect “Succession: Season 3” to premiere sometime during quarter four of 2021.
You might want to know that the family drama was not intended to be a long-running series. In a June 2021 interview, executive producer Georgia Pritchett indicated that the show might last for a maximum of five seasons, while four cycles appeared to be most plausible.
She also claimed that the writers had a solid concept of how they wanted to end the episodes. Only time will tell what the future holds for the series and its characters.
