The StarCraft III: looking back

This game, set in a military outer planet world of science fiction, was first launched in 1998 by Blizzard Entertainment. It was first launched for Microsoft Windows.

Then there was StarCraft: Ghost that was supposed to be launched in 2001, finally came into existence in 2004 with the help of Nihilistic software. Unlike the previous artillery heavy adventure, the second one was a stealth operation.

The true revolution in the series came in July 2010, when StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty was released. It quickly took the gaming world by storm. It gained huge popularity across the globe especially in South Korea where the video gaming industry is a booming business. Wings of Liberty was a much more carefully built detailed operation game which later goes on to become a classic Real-Time Strategy video game. It added high-quality cinematics to enhance the gamer’s experience. The interactive gaming series made a difference by capitalizing on the subtle capabilities one needs to handle the constant clash between the Terrains, Zergs, and Protoss. The “barely there” subtle additional detailing added to the quite real experience which is nothing short of a delicious treat to a true gamer.

There are two more installations to the StarCraft II series —- Heart of the Swarm and Legacy Of the Void.

In 2016 a 9 mission pack game was released, in the name of  Nova Covert ops and it was present in the form of DLC or Downloadable content.

Recently, StarCraft fans have been raving about the release of a StarCraft 3. The game is not just about the blunt blood and gore that kills the game. It’s about being able to juggle multiple races, units, and technical strategies. Planning and finesse are going to be your friend in this outer space battle of Jim Raynor. The precision of the game is almost the chess, with thousands of pieces constantly moving.

Have you played StarCraft?

When Blizzard was a stand-alone production house, they had a certain

Loyalty towards this StarCraft Series. Even though they released the games after long intervals, the games used to see the light.

But after it was merged with Activision, it is not clear how much control the company has on the development and the release of its content.

The authority has deliberately avoided the topic. In the meantime, the creation of new series continues. This doesn’t give us much hope.

The future of Blizzard’s StarCraft is uncertain

Despite being a popular game, StarCraft 3 has been stuck for a long time. Since there is no incisive response, a lot of gaming enthusiasts and PC Game journalists believe that it is up to the fans now. Only a direct and growing demand can change the mind of the makers.

What gives us hope is that it happened before, When fans demanded more Crash Bandicoot, Activision obeyed. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy started a Crash craze that ultimately led to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and Crash Bandicoot 4.

So who knows maybe, strong demand from the fans will change the minds of the makers after all.
