Overall, the first episode of Never Have I Ever Season 3 was a great start to the season. It set up the plot for the rest of the season and introduced some new characters. It was a great way to kick off the season and fans are sure to be excited for what’s to come.
Never Have I Ever Season 3 Episode 1 comprises an American romantic comedy-drama television series developed by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher that stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. Though it actually occurs in the San Fernando Valley, the show has been reported to be partially based on Kaling’s early experiences in the Boston area, while Kaling herself has said it is rooted “in the spirit of my upbringing”. It launched on Netflix on April 27, 2020, and follows an Indian-American high school girl grappling with her father’s untimely death. The series received mostly positive feedback.

Fans are eager for another season of Never Have I Ever after seeing things heat up between Devi, Ben, and Paxton (a.k.a. Bevaxton) last season. The complexity of their love triangle caused significant drama, and it appears that there will be more as a result of Ben’s reaction to Paxton and Devi during the winter dance. There are still tales to be told, which is why Netflix has renewed NHIE for a second season.

The show’s official Instagram account offered us a first peek at Sherman Oaks High for season 3, and the latest hot coupling is Devi and Paxton. The majority of the student body does not appear to agree, and it appears that there may be trouble in paradise for #Daxton.
Of course, this teaser wouldn’t be complete without an in-joke from Devi, who mentions Gen Z queen Olivia Rodrigo. Check out the complete trailer after the jump!

Never Have I Ever Season 3 Episode 1 Plot
Devi is overjoyed that she and Paxton are now a couple. The gossip/mean girls at school, on the other hand, speculate about how the school’s hottest boy could be dating a geek like Devi. How did they learn? A video of the two lovebirds walking hand in hand and kissing was published and aired by a high school gossip TikTok account called Lady Whistle Boy (this is their fellow classmate Eric Perkins). Of course, our story’s nervous hero does not take it well. Sadly, just as she describes her feelings of inadequacy, she receives an anonymous text telling her that Paxton is not who she believes he is.
Everyone is currently partnered up; two are heading south swiftly and will perish. Devi and Paxton, Ben and Aneesa, and Eleanor and Trent are not for everyone. Fabiola’s girlfriend is relocating to South Korea with her family, but she desires to be with her regardless of the 16-hour time difference. Kamala has decided to end her relationship with Prashant. Finally, Trent and Paxton’s bromance appears to be on shaky ground because Trent is envious of Paxton’s time being taken up by Devi. That tells me that by the conclusion of the season, most of these connections will be distant memory. Ben isn’t the ideal match for Aneesa. How can two individuals maintain a long-distance relationship while residing in a Korean time zone? Fabiola bloomed with Eve.

Meanwhile, the girls advise Devi to make sure her PTA is up to date. What exactly is that, you ask? Of course, it’s pits, t**s, and a*s. (John McEnroe then follows up with the appropriate narration that he, like me, despises knowing that acronym). Devi has been looking forward to this night. She wants to give that Paxton boy her virginity tonight. Devi believes it will be “some magical performing fellatio about which I write a poem or some s**t.” At the very least, it will be quicker than a poem.

When they go to do it, the James Franco lookalike does not engage in any Franco-like antics. He notices that his girlfriend is not prepared because she appears to be stressed. After all, her hands were in little fists and she appeared to be about to fracture a tooth. Paxton may be a good guy after all. When Devi tells him she isn’t ready for sex, he is gracious. He never sees the G-string she created out of her shoelace. Devi is the MacGyver of young ladies’ lingerie when it comes to making her own. This is for you, Dean Anderson, Richard

Nirmala is upset when Kamala notifies the family that she will not be marrying. She even refuses to feed Kamala her famed idly and sambar (a fluffy steamed cake made of fermented grain and a savory veggie lentil stew) since only committed or married women deserve it. Unfortunately, just as she is beginning to feel better about herself, she obtains an anonymous text message from someone alerting her that Paxton is not who she believes she is.
