What Are The Reviews For Rampage?
This is the type of movie that, at first, bores you and makes you believe it’ll be another bad picture, but then it develops on you and becomes better with each passing second.
Yes, the video begins at a low point, with Rock and his colleagues attempting to find out what happened to the animal for the first 30 minutes, but after Naomie Harris came, the movie began to pick up speed! Then it went on to become one of the year’s finest films!
The film contains action, suspense, humor, and drama, in other words, it contains all of the genres in one film! The narrative isn’t as good as it might be, but the usage of VFX and CGI is flawless! The editing, as well as the performance of the entire ensemble, is fantastic! I’d say I thoroughly enjoyed the two hours of my life that I spent watching this film! Not to be missed!

What Are The Reviews For Baywatch?
This picture had genuine individuality, granted it followed the normal structure, but the cast was fantastic. I’d never seen Efron in a film before, but he did a terrific job here. The picture makes fun of itself the entire time, but there is genuine comedy here, and the likeability of the ensemble, particularly Johnson, is what makes it work.
They didn’t provide any depth to her character or motivation, but who cares, this was a fun film full of lovely attractive characters, a really positive joyful movie with wonderful adult humor uncensored, so who cares?
Anderson and The Hoff make cameo appearances, which I enjoy. It took me by surprise. This was one of my favorites. I would suggest this video to anyone looking for a good chuckle. These folks have no sense of comedy, as seen by the scathing critical assessments.
San Andreas
About San Andreas
San Andreas is a 2015 catastrophe film directed by Brad Peyton and written by Carlton Cuse, with screenplay credit going to Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore.
Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Gruffudd, Archie Panjabi, and Paul Giamatti are among the cast members. The story revolves around a cataclysmic earthquake generated by the San Andreas Fault that wreaks havoc on Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Release date: 28 May 2015 (Australia)
Directed by Brad Peyton
Starring: Dwayne Johnson as Raymond Gaines; Carla Gugino as Emma Gaines; Alexandra Daddario as Blake Gaines; Ioan Gruffudd as Daniel Riddick; Archie Panjabi as Serena Johnson; Paul Giamatti as Dr. Lawrence Hayes; Hugo Johnstone-Burt as Ben Taylor; Art Parkinson as Ollie Taylor
What Is The Plot of San Andreas?
When California’s infamous San Andreas fault causes a cataclysmic magnitude 9 earthquake, the greatest in recorded history, a seemingly perfect day turns deadly.
Ray Gaines (Dwayne Johnson), an LAFD search-and-rescue chopper pilot, must navigate the carnage from Los Angeles to San Francisco to deliver his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) and their only daughter (Alexandra Daddario) to safety as the Earth cracks open and skyscrapers begin to fall.
What Are The Reviews For San Andreas?
For my lesson on natural catastrophes and dangers, I watched San Andreas. I paid close attention to disaster movie clichés and information, then determined whether or not this was realistic based on what I had studied thus far in class.
The Rock (Ray Gaines) saves his family amid the greatest earthquakes ever recorded in history in San Andreas. He manages highly perilous natural dangers, having been well-prepared for his job from his stint in the marines and as an LAFD search and rescue helicopter pilot.
The Rock (Ray) not only saves his ex-wife from a crumbling skyscraper due to an earthquake, but he also pulls off astounding feats including landing a crashed helicopter, surfing a tsunami wave, and saving his daughter in a spectacular way.
When The Rock controls his rescue chopper, such as in the opening sequence, it’s one of my favorite scenes. I especially loved the skydiving scenario, in which the rock appeared to be unconcerned by the situation.
The Hoover Dam earthquake scene, the entire Caltech plot, and the tsunami sequence in San Francisco are some of the moments that I considered to have an interesting “believability” component. In the Hoover Dam scenario, I liked how you can see an emergency water release just before the dam breaches.
This, I suppose, may occur while the dam attempts to maintain proper pressure. However, as the main scientist stands only feet away from the damaged dam, literally masses of water woosh past him, this plausibility disappears swiftly. The entire Caltech scenario was a little cheesy since they discovered a perfect technique to forecast earthquakes by using a precursor magnetic fault.
This is obviously untrue, yet it makes sense in terms of the major narrative. I also believe the San Francisco tsunami scenario is ridiculously overblown. When The Rock surfed the tsunami wave like a surfer on his boat, I couldn’t stop giggling. Many of the action scenes, in my opinion, are designed to be entertaining rather than scientifically realistic.
I have no doubt that if the world’s strongest earthquake struck California, it would inflict immense damage and the temporary collapse of society on the west coast. However, I doubt that we would be able to forecast and alert the public as well as they do in this film.
It would be a horrible occurrence that would be remembered across the world. However, I believe the planet would not split apart as depicted in the film, nor would there be mountain-sized tsunami waves. However, I believe the film did a fantastic job showing the role of heroes. In times of crisis, I believe people will rise to the occasion, just like The Rock did. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this film, it’s the value of being a first responder and taking action.
Jumanji: The Next Level
About Jumanji: The Next Level
Jake Kasdan directed Jumanji: The Next Level, a 2019 American fantasy adventure comedy film co-written by Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. It is the fourth instalment in the Jumanji franchise and is a sequel to 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the second sequel to 1995’s Jumanji.

There, they are confronted with new difficulties and tasks, as well as old and new avatars, while attempting to save the land from a new evil in order to flee.
On December 13, 2019, Sony Pictures Releasing’s Columbia Pictures label released Jumanji: The Next Level in theatres in the United States. The film garnered mostly good reviews from reviewers and went on to gross $800 million worldwide on a budget of $125–132 million, making it the tenth highest-grossing picture of 2019. A sequel is in the works.
Release date: 20 December 2017 (USA)
Director: Jake Kasdan
Starring: Dwayne Johnson; Jack Black; Kevin Hart; Karen Gillan; Nick Jonas; Bobby Cannavale
What Is The Plot of Jumanji: The Next Level?
Four high school students come across an ancient video game console and are pulled into the game’s jungle atmosphere, transforming into their adult avatars. They learn that Jumanji isn’t only a game to play; it’s also a survival game.
To escape the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to embark on the most perilous journey of their lives, learn what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be trapped in it forever.
What Are The Reviews For Jumanji: The Next Level?
Spencer Gilpin, Anthony “Fridge” Johnson, Martha Kaply, and Bethany Walker are living better lives three years after their journey in Jumanji. Spencer is anxious about the reunion brunch, which the group intends to have in Brantford that year.
He begins to consider returning to Jumanji, where he had a purpose, on his first night back, having kept onto the damaged video-game system. Spencer’s grandfather Eddie, who is recovering from hip surgery, and Eddie’s former buddy Milo Walker, who is visiting for an unclear reason, pay him a visit the next day.
When the group realises they have no idea where Spencer is, they investigate the house and discover the Jumanji game, which has been repaired in the basement. Spencer’s pals decide to follow him after learning that he has returned to the game.
When the game first starts off, it only accepts Fridge and Martha, as well as Eddie and Milo, forcing Bethany to seek assistance from fellow Jumanji player Alex Vreeke. Inside the game, Martha transforms into Ruby Roundhouse, while Fridge transforms into Professor Sheldon Oberon, and Eddie and Milo transform into Dr. Xander Bravestone and Franklin Finbar, respectively.
After teaching Eddie and Milo the game’s rules, the gang runs into non-player character Nigel Billingsley, the game’s guide, who reveals that Jumanji has been suffering from a severe drought since its last use. To exit the game, Nigel explains that the gang must reclaim the Falcon’s Heart, a magical necklace stolen by warlord Jurgen the Brutal that, when brought before sunlight and said “Jumanji,” can end the drought.
When the party is transported to the Dunes to rescue Jurgen, they discover Spencer working as a new avatar named Ming Fleetfoot, a proficient burglar. Spencer, who blames himself for their predicament, assists them in their mission. While attempting to escape the Dunes, the group encounters unexpected hurdles and problems while acquiring a Jumanji, an in-game item.
Snitch
About Snitch
Snitch is a 2013 American action thriller film directed by Ric Roman Waugh and starring Dwayne Johnson. It is based on the true storey of DEA informant James Settembrino. On February 22, 2013, the film was released in the United States. Barry Pepper, Susan Sarandon, Jon Bernthal, Benjamin Bratt, and Michael Kenneth Williams also star in the film.
Release date: 5 April 2013 (India)
Director: Ric Roman Waugh
Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Barry Pepper, Jon Bernthal, Michael K. Williams, Melina Kanakaredes, Nadine Velazquez, Rafi Gavron, David Harbour, Benjamin Bratt, and Susan Sarandon
What Is The Plot of Snitch?
Jason is sentenced to a mandatory 10-year prison sentence at the age of 18 after being caught with a package containing illegal substances, despite the fact that he was unaware of its contents. Dwayne Johnson’s character, businessman John Matthews, is distraught.
When Jason declines a chance to reduce his sentence by fabricating evidence to blame someone else, John begs to be sent undercover, but the already dangerous assignment turns lethal when he exposes a significant role in the Mexican drug trade.
What Are The Reviews For Snitch?
You will be disappointed if you were hoping to see Dwayne Johnson bashing nasty folks. Despite his massive stature, he is battered by a gang of thugs since this is more of an emotional trip than an action thriller.
Ric Roman Waugh, the director, had taken the risk of portraying Johnson as an ordinary father desperately trying to save his son. He’s more of a guy from down the street.
The video depicts the perilous underworld nexus, and how an ordinary guy risks everything he holds dear when he enters there. Good lead character acting, crisp photography, little bad language, and a focus on storytelling rather than theatrical demands.
Contrary to popular belief, family comes first in the West, as depicted in the Hollywood industry. One little snag: Is drug and human trafficking the sole source of income for all black and Mexican people?
Empire State
About Empire State
Empire State is a 2013 American crime drama film about two boyhood friends who loot an armoured car repository and the New York Police Department detective who stands in their way. On September 3, 2013, the picture, directed by Dito Montiel and starring Liam Hemsworth, Emma Roberts, and Dwayne Johnson, was released on DVD and Blu-ray. It’s based on genuine events.
Initial release: 19 March 2013
Director: Dito Montiel
Starring: Liam Hemsworth; Emma Roberts; Dwayne Johnson
What Is The Plot of The Empire State?
In the early 1980s, Chris Potamitis resided in the Bronx with his parents and younger sister. After ten years of cleaning a dodgy Greek social club, his immigrant father gets dismissed. Chris is denied admission to the police academy due to a prior marijuana conviction.
He takes a low-paying security guard job with the Empire Armored Car Company, where security is inadequate, morale is low, and no trustworthy records of money received or held are preserved.
During a robbery, his companion is killed, but the corporation only pays the dead man’s family $5,000 instead of the $50,000 they are entitled to. Chris steals one of the money bags he is guarding after being demoted to night watchman and delivers some of the money to his partner’s widow.
Chris makes the mistake of exposing the money to his loudmouthed best friend Eddie and informing him about the company’s terrible security. Eddie tells Spiro, a criminal he wants to impress, about this information, and Spiro stages a robbery, which is prevented by James Ransome, an experienced investigator with the New York Police Department who has been warned off.
Two of the robbers are slain in a gun battle that ensues. Eddie then breaks into the company through the roof in the middle of the night on December 12, 1982, and hectors a weak-willed Chris into opening the vault.
Eddie knocks Chris down and grabs $11 million in cash, surpassing the $5.8 million Lufthansa heist in December 1978 as the single greatest cash robbery in US history. Eddie hands Chris $3 million of the money.
Eddie is apprehended by Ransome, who asks where Chris and the remainder of the money are, but Eddie remains silent and is freed. Chris informs Nancy that the money is hidden in a statue that he and Eddie gave to his mother.
Eddie pulls a gun on Chris and demands the money, but Chris’ father shoots and wounded Eddie just as the cops arrive and arrest all three guys. On October 10, 1991, Chris and Eddie are released from federal jail, but the money is never recovered.
What Are The Reviews For Empire State?
One thing is certain: the director enjoys shooting trains in motion. Dwayne Dibbly and Hemsworn were both excellent, but Angernobody was incredibly unpleasant, and it’s a miracle he didn’t get his lights turned off. Even I had the want to punch him in the face. Overall, however, it was a better film than some of the reviews suggested.
If you’re one of those guys who watches every movie starring a certain actor, this is one of those films. As if you’ve seen all of “The Rock’s” movies. While you’re watching this, add it to your Rock Watched Collection. Then, in my opinion, it’s safe to state that it’s a truly awful movie with bad acting, and Dwayne “The Rock” doesn’t help matters. None of the actors in the film did either.
“I was young and needed the money,” or “I was bound by a contract and couldn’t get out.” That was the case! Everything was very disappointing because of the terrible tale, uninspired acting from everyone, and awful filming.
Faster
About Faster
George Tillman Jr. directed Faster, a 2010 American action thriller film. The film stars Dwayne Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton as a vengeful criminal and the corrupt officer who follows him, respectively. In addition to Tom Berenger, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Carla Gugino, the film stars Tom Berenger, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Carla Gugino. Faster was released on November 24, 2010, with a budget of $24 million and a gross of $35 million.
Release date: 24 November 2010 (USA)
Director: George Tillman Jr.
Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton
Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Carla Gugino, Maggie Grace, Moon Bloodgood, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Tom Berenger
What Is The Plot of Faster?
Driver (Dwayne Johnson) bursts out the gates after a ten-year prison sentence to exact vengeance on those responsible for his brother’s murder.
He has two men on his track within hours of dispatching his first one: an experienced cop (Billy Bob Thornton) and an eager assassin (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). Driver strives to stay one step ahead of his pursuers, but there are clues that his list is incomplete, and that the unknown person could put his life in jeopardy.
What Are The Reviews For Faster?
The Rock portrays a psychotic ex-con who goes through the entire film like a Terminator, killing all of his adversaries.
There are plan holes a mile wide, and nothing makes sense. Billybob Thorton appears as a stereotypical 10 days to retirement cop ordered to investigate, accompanied by a female cop partner, whose name I can’t recall and who I couldn’t care less about because her character was boring and forgettable.
Oliver Jackson Cohen portrays a rival assassin who is recruited by an unknown party to kill the rock’s character. As a contemplative killer striving for meaning in his life, he has the few nice sequences. He had a hot girlfriend, so I’m guessing that’s what spurred him on? There are a few shootouts between him and the Rock, but they don’t amount to much.
This storey was a disorganised, confused muddle. Scenes don’t flow well together; it jumps from one to the other, and towards the end, I didn’t care and simply wanted the post-film to finish.
It doesn’t help that the actors are given nothing more than cliched dialogue and shoddy directing. In a film marketed primarily as an actioner, there isn’t a notable action sequence.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation
About G.I. Joe: Retaliation
The 2013 American military science fiction action film G.I. Joe: Retaliation is based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe toy, comic, and media franchise.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is the sequel to 2009’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Jon M. Chu directed the film, which was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Arnold Vosloo, and Channing Tatum reprise their roles from the first film, while Luke Bracey and Robert Baker replace Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander, and Dwayne Johnson, D. J. Cotrona, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, Elodie Yung, and Bruce Willis round out the main cast.
The terrorist organisation is able to frame the Joes as traitors and have them nearly annihilated in an airstrike in the film, with Cobra operative Zartan still impersonating the President of the United States.
Cobra Commander enslaves world leaders and gives Cobra access to their superior weapons systems. Outmanned and outgunned, the surviving Joes team up with General Joseph Colton, the original G.I. Joe, to overthrow Cobra Commander and his allies.
The film was originally scheduled to be released in June 2012, but was postponed to allow for the conversion to 3D and to increase interest in overseas markets. On March 28, 2013, it was released in North America. The film received mixed reviews from reviewers and grossed $375 million worldwide on a $130–155 million budget.
Release date: 28 March 2013 (India)
Director: Jon M. Chu
Starring: D. J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, and Dwayne Johnson
What Is The Plot of G.I. Joe: Retaliation?
Duke (Channing Tatum), second-in-command Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), and the rest of the Joes (D.J. Cotrona, Lee Byung-hun) face a dual threat in the latest instalment of the G.I. Joe franchise.
Not only is their mortal adversary COBRA rearing its ugly head once more, but there is also a threat from within the US government: a White House impostor. Meanwhile, Snake Eyes (Ray Park) is seeking inner peace when he discovers that his arch-nemesis, Storm Shadow, is still alive.
What Are The Reviews For G.I. Joe: Retaliation?
I was never a fan of G.I. Joe as a kid, at least not the TV show, but I did have a couple of toys. So, while the film did not pique my interest when it was released in 2009, I decided to play catch-up and see the prior films in anticipation of Snake Eyes’ release.
I saw Rise of Cobra and thought it was mediocre yet entertaining. Retaliation is almost a reboot, but it does include some plot elements from Rise of Cobra. Except for Snake Eyes and Duke, most of the Joes from the previous film have been replaced, and there was an unexpected surprise early on when one of the main characters was killed off, which I was truly upset about.
Because, why not, Dwayne Johnson joins the cast as RoadBlock? On-screen chemistry between Channing Tatum and Dwayne Johnson was believable and entertaining. It’s just a pity it only lasted a quarter of the film. The action was exciting and over-the-top, but nicely coordinated, and the acting wasn’t too horrible to begin with.
However, there was a definite moment for me when the movie began to go backwards, and it was the flashback scene detailing the narrative of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow – it felt out of place in comparison to what we had just seen for the first 25/30 minutes. For me, the film never really recovered from then, becoming increasingly absurd and uninteresting.
There were a lot of wasted sequences and characters; people had more lines than they needed because their character had no substantial impact on the plot and the movie would have finished the same way even if they weren’t in it.
Even Snake Eyes, who was my favourite character in the first film, has been softened in this one, and I prefer how he seemed in the last film as well.
Storm Shadow reappears, with no explanation as to how he was slashed, stabbed in the chest, and his body fell into a vat of water to presumably drown in the previous film. Not only is there no explanation, but he bears no scars from the incident. The 3D, on the other hand, was quite good, with a continuous sense of depth and minimal pop out.
Final Thoughts: I felt it started off extremely well, and I enjoyed RoadBlock and Duke’s camaraderie and humour. Early on, the action scenes were a little over the top but done nicely, and I was really getting into it, but about a quarter of the way through, the pace and tone of the film shifted.
It appeared that it would get up again at times, but it never did. It devolved into a generic action flick with mediocre action and little that hasn’t been done before. It’s not terrible, and I enjoyed about half of it, but I can’t suggest it.
The Scorpion King
About The Scorpion King
Dwayne Johnson, Steven Brand, Kelly Hu, Grant Heslov, and Michael Clarke Duncan feature in The Scorpion King, a 2002 American sword and sorcery action-adventure film directed by Chuck Russell and starring Dwayne Johnson, Steven Brand, Kelly Hu, Grant Heslov, and Michael Clarke Duncan. It is a prequel and a spin-off of The Mummy franchise, and it is the first film in The Scorpion King film series. Johnson plays the lead part in the film for the first time.
The Scorpion King takes set 5,000 years before The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, revealing Mathayus’ origins and rise to prominence as the legendary hero known as the Scorpion King. The name is a reference to King Scorpion, a historical Egyptian king from the Protodynastic Period.
Release date: 17 April 2002 (USA)
Director: Chuck Russell
Starring: Dwayne Johnson; Steven Brand; Kelly Hu; Bernard Hill; Grant Heslov; Peter Facinelli; Michael Clarke Duncan
What Is The Plot of The Scorpion King?
“The Scorpion King,” based on the legendary Egyptian hero, is set 5000 years ago in the infamous city of Gomorrah, where an evil ruler is out to wipe out all of the desert’s nomadic peoples.
The few remaining tribes, who have never been natural allies, must band together or perish. Knowing that their adversary relies on a sorcerer’s visions, they hire Mathayus (The Rock) to assassinate the clairvoyant.
What Are The Reviews For The Scorpion King?
This spin-off from the “Mummy” world stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The film portrays the narrative of Matthaus, an assassin who is betrayed and left for dead. However, with the assistance of a lovely Sorceress, he would grow to become the greatest warrior in the ancient world.
The Scorpion King lacks the massive array of special effects shown in both Mummy films, but it makes up for it with much stronger, full-blooded action sequences. Battle gives you a sense of raw strength, which makes it a far better action film than either of the Mummy films.
The Scorpion King is without a doubt one of the best action-adventure films of all time. What a shame Universal Studios couldn’t get “The Rock” to return and went with the low-cost direct-to-DVD approach for the sequels.
Race To The Witch Mountain
About Race To The Witch Mountain
Dwayne Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig, Ciarán Hinds, and Carla Gugino star in Race to Witch Mountain, a 2009 American science fiction adventure thriller film directed by Andy Fickman and starring Dwayne Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig, Ciarán Hinds, and Carla Gugino.
The film is a remake of the Disney live-action feature Escape to Witch Mountain, which was released in 1975 and was based on Alexander Key’s 1968 novel of the same name. It was Disney’s third adaptation of the novel; the first was Escape to Witch Mountain, and the second was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (1995). In March 2008, filming began in Los Angeles. On March 13, 2009, it was released.
It’s Johnson’s second work with Fickman, after The Game Plan, which was also a Disney live-action film.
Release date: 13 March 2009 (USA)
Director: Andy Fickman
Starring: Dwayne Johnson; AnnaSophia Robb; Carla Gugino; Ciarán Hinds; Alexander Ludwig; Tom Everett Scott; Chris Marquette
What Is The Plot of Race To The Witch Mountain?
When Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson), a Las Vegas cab driver, encounters Sara (AnnaSophia Robb) and Seth (Alexander Ludwig), a pair of extraterrestrial youngsters with paranormal abilities, he is caught up in the adventure of a lifetime.
Jack must assist the youths in reaching their spaceship, which is concealed under Witch Mountain, in order to avoid an invasion of Earth. But it won’t be easy, for government agents and an extraterrestrial bounty hunter are hot on their tail.
What Are The Reviews For Race To The Witch Mountain?
Dwayne Johnson plays a taxi driver who picks up a couple of weird kids who need help finding their spaceship in this remake of the 1975 thriller.
The identity of the children is not a mystery in this film; you know right away that they are extraterrestrial. Instead, a government organisation and a Predator-like extraterrestrial are hunting them down, and Dwyane Johnson’s character is tasked with keeping them safe. I didn’t find this film to be any more engaging than the original, despite its differences. There were a few storey inconsistencies that made me roll my eyes.
The two youngsters are played by AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig, who are older than the two kids in the original. This permits them to perform better. It was nice to see the two original youngsters make cameo appearances in this picture. It’s not a bad movie, but I can see why it didn’t become a franchise. If you’re interested, have a look!

What Is The Plot of Fast And Furious Presents: Hobbs And Shaw?
Brixton Lorr is a cybernetically modified soldier with superhuman strength, a brilliant mind, and a deadly infection that has the potential to wipe out half the world’s population.
It’s now up to burly cop Luke Hobbs and lawless operative Deckard Shaw to put their differences aside and work together to stop the supposedly indestructible Lorr from annihilating humanity.
What Are The Reviews For Fast And Furious Presents: Hobbs And Shaw?
To be honest, I’ve only seen the first F&F film when it originally came out, and I don’t recall much about it, so I treated this one as a stand-alone.
This film pleasantly shocked me with how much I enjoyed it. From the fast-paced action to the wildly distinct and contrasting sequences to the unexpected but amusing cameos, this film has it all.
I thought this movie was well worth the money I paid for it, and I would enthusiastically suggest it to anyone who enjoys action movies. Usually, movies with a lot of action include a lot of dull drama, but this one had just enough action to keep my eyes open from start to finish.
In this film, Idris Elba played a fantastic villain. He held his cool, and I was blown away by how gracious the bad guys were in allowing Hobbs and his siblings to be introduced to the fight. Let’s be honest, I was expecting the mother to appear and offer Idris and his team an ipu ki and pai fala.
The scenes in London were fantastic. Helen Mirren is always a good choice for a film, even if her role is minor.
I liked how the movie carried us to Europe, an American café, and then Samoa. Even though the music chosen to introduce Samoa was a Tokelau song, I like it. I’ve never heard the word USO spoken so many times in such a short period of time; I’m just thankful they didn’t say UCE, LOL!
This movie delivered a powerful message about family and loyalty. It’s wonderful to realise that, despite our diverse cultural backgrounds, we all have family conflict and love.
Anyway, this was a very enjoyable picture, and I sincerely hope there will be a Hobbs & Shaw sequel.
