It holds the person watching in sheer awe, as they try to come to grips with what they just watched. The heavily inspired art style of the game really pulls the individual in and puts them in a trance. While watching the trailer, I couldn’t help but feel that this was something Pixar would make. The art style for the game is so Pixar-Esque, it almost feels like a trailer for one of their movies. Yet, it’s a game with its own mechanics and amazing style.

Art Style and features of Kena: Bridge of Spirits Game
This game takes inspiration from so many different sources. An Individual may even start to feel overwhelmed by the many awesome and different things happening throughout the trailer of the game. It’s so full of detail that’s easy to miss, yet satisfying to think about once discovered completely.
The Pixar-style animation of the game takes one back to their childhood memories and it’s just a huge nostalgia trip in itself. It feels like someone has Captured our perfect childhood and embedded it in a game. The art and style of this really lends to the beauty of the game and is one that would be most appealing to the young and the old alike. It’s just perfect for what it is and the sort of game like this is.
Kena Shares Similarities With Breath of the Wild
While watching the trailer, I couldn’t help but notice that there’s a similarity with the Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. The grass, trees, and the environment are just so reminiscent of this legendary Nintendo IP, it’s really hard to miss if you’ve ever played it. That’s not to say that the game stole or copied Nintendo’s style in any way; because it certainly didn’t. But it does take inspiration from Breath of The Wild and that’s a fact one just cannot ignore. And if you ask me, that’s a very welcome inspiration and one I highly appreciate.

Kena takes inspiration from Horizon: Zero Dawn
At the same time, the fighting sequences scream Horizon: Zero Dawn. From the way Kena pulls her back bow to the monstrosities where she fights, all of it just seems something like one would expect from Zero Dawn. And it doesn’t fail to impress either.
The fighting scenes are really engaging and exciting to watch while being interesting enough to hold one’s attention for the entirety of the scene. While this may be another aspect of the game that feels like it has been ripped off of another successful game, it is again an inspiration that I highly appreciate, just because of the beautiful way it has been put together.
Kena’s Rot is similar to Nintendo’s Pikmin
Nintendo fans are certainly happy with the way the developers have put together the game, because the game again takes inspiration from one of Nintendo’s highly acclaimed franchises, Pikmin. As Kena goes on her journey, she is accompanied by the most adorable spirit creatures in the world, known as the Rot, who helps to maintain nature’s balance in the game. While the name certainly doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence when we use the word “adorable”, they really are the most adorable creatures. And ones that take inspiration from Nintendo’s Pikmin. They’re just so similar to Pikmin, that it is really hard to not notice.
For those who haven’t played Pikmin, they are plant-like creatures with a number of different abilities that the player can make use of. And there are a lot of similarities that they share with the Rot, one being the way that they help the player. The player can command them in groups and make use of their different abilities to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and discovering new secrets, while at the same time being responsible for them and their army. It is all just so similar and feels very inspired by Pikmin, and is again an adorable little quality that we wholeheartedly welcome.
