Jack and Jeanne Switch Game Delayed Until March 2021

It’s been a long wait for fans of the upcoming Jack Jeanne Switch game, but the wait is finally over. The game has been officially postponed to March 2021.

Jack Jeanne is an upcoming Switch game from developer Arc System Works. It’s a rhythm-based action game that follows the story of two characters, Jack and Jeanne, as they explore a mysterious world. The game was originally slated for a 2020 release, but the developer has decided to delay the game to March 2021.

The delay was announced on the official Jack Jeanne Twitter account. The tweet stated that the game was being delayed to ensure that the game was of the highest quality. The tweet also thanked fans for their patience and understanding.

The delay of Jack Jeanne is a disappointment for fans, but it’s understandable. Arc System Works is known for its high-quality games, and it’s important that the game meets the developer’s standards. The delay also gives the developer more time to add additional content and features to the game.

The delay of Jack Jeanne is a setback, but it’s also a sign that the developer is taking the game seriously. Fans can look forward to a high-quality game when it finally releases in March 2021. Until then, fans can look forward to more news and updates from the developer.

One delay after another.

An upcoming collaboration gaming project between media company Broccoli and Tokyo Ghoul manga creator Sui Ishida is postponed to March 18, 2021.

This announcement was made via their official social media handles. Btw, that’s not the first delay.

When the gaming collaboration for Jack Jeanne was announced in 2019, its expected release date was August 5. Then because of various circumstances with production, the launch got delayed to December 3.

That’s not it. Depending on the progress of the present situation, another delay was expected.

The makers knew it, the fans knew it.

And now, once again, it’s official. The game will release on March 18, 2021.

At least, that’s what they claim but who knows; we’re looking for another delay in the future.

Jack Jeanne Video Game

Set in a drama school, Jack Jeanne will feature rhythm & visual gaming elements. The storyline will center on the theater.

In December 2019, Broccoli informed that the game would have a story of as long as “20 Novels“. So, if you’re a fan of story-based games, you’re gonna love it.

The pricing Jack Jeanne video game will start from 7,8000 yen in Japan. That’s approx $71.

It’ll also release with a limited edition version that’ll further include the game itself, a visual art book, a special box, a drama CD, a novel & a vocal collection CD. All this at 12,300 Yen or approx. US$112.

Jack Jeanne Video Game Storyline

The story follows around a girl Kisa Tachibana who gave up her career in theaters to attend the Univers Drama School.

It’s an elite drama school exclusive for male actors. Here, students play the female Jack & Jeanne. At the drama school, Kisa’s enrollment wasn’t permanent. To maintain that status, she must land a lead role in the school’s play. Even that wasn’t enough. She had to hide from everyone that she’s a girl.

What do you think?

Can she land Jack’s role (Male Lead) in the play that’s scheduled to take place by the year’s end?

To get the answer to these questions, you need to wait till March 2021.

Final Thoughts

Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump published Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul for 14 volumes from 2011 to 2014. After this, Weekly Young Jump issued Tokyo Ghoul:re from October 2014 to 2018’s summer.

Now, in 2020, Jack Jeanne is a completely new concept. The upcoming game isn’t based on any manga or light novels. It’s an Original.

As I told earlier, it’s storyline will be as long as 20 Novel Volumes. That’s all for now. From now on, I can only hope Jack Jeanne’s game will not get postpone any further.
