Ghost Of Tsushima: Release Date Pushed Back To July

It’s been a long wait for fans of the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima, but the wait is finally over. After months of speculation, Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced that the game will be released on July 17th, 2020.

The game was originally slated for a June 26th release, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the developers at Sucker Punch Productions decided to delay the game in order to ensure the best possible experience for players.

In a statement released by Sucker Punch, the studio said, “We want to deliver the best experience possible for our fans, so we’ve made the difficult decision to delay the release of Ghost of Tsushima until July 17th. We understand that this news is disappointing, but we believe that this extra time will allow us to deliver the experience that our fans deserve.”

The game is set in feudal Japan and follows the story of Jin Sakai, a samurai on a quest to protect his homeland from the invading Mongol forces. Players will be able to explore the island of Tsushima, engaging in a variety of activities such as hunting, fishing, and engaging in combat with the enemy.

The game will also feature a variety of customization options, allowing players to customize their character’s appearance and weapons. Additionally, the game will feature a variety of side quests and activities, as well as a New Game+ mode for those who want to experience the game again.

Ghost of Tsushima is sure to be one of the biggest games of the year, and with the delay, fans can now look forward to experiencing the game in July.
