But this is something that’s built with an engine to keep on going.”
Lyonne’s Charlie also added by saying, “You probably know that Charlie is gonna get her man at the end of the day, she’s going to solve this crime. But how she does it is always so surprising. We wanted to subvert the audience’s expectations because they might think that they know where we’re going, but they do not. That, to me, is the pleasure of the show: All of those twists and turns and subverting expectations.”
