Charlie Cox Refutes Rumors of Daredevil’s Appearance in Spider-Man 3

It’s been a long time coming, but it looks like Charlie Cox is finally ready to put his Daredevil days behind him. The actor, who played the titular hero in the Netflix series, recently debunked rumors that he would be appearing in the upcoming Spider-Man 3.

The rumors began when it was reported that Marvel was looking to bring back some of its former stars for the upcoming movie. Fans were quick to speculate that Cox would be one of those stars, and that he would be reprising his role as Daredevil.

However, Cox recently took to Twitter to set the record straight. He wrote, “I have had a lot of questions and speculation about whether I will be in Spider-Man 3. I can confirm that I am not.”

This news comes as a bit of a surprise, as many fans were hoping to see Cox return to the role of Daredevil. After all, the character was a fan favorite in the Netflix series, and his absence from the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been felt.

That said, it’s understandable why Cox would want to move on from the role. After all, the Netflix series was canceled after just three seasons, and the character has yet to be seen in the MCU. It’s likely that Cox is looking to move on to new projects and new roles.

Regardless, it’s a shame that we won’t be seeing Cox as Daredevil in Spider-Man 3. But, it’s understandable why he would want to move on from the role. Here’s hoping that he finds success in his future endeavors.
