Black Clover Manga Storyline
On the same day, Asta and Yuno were together abandoned at the same church. They were raised simultaneously as children. Subsequently, they learned about the “Wizard King”—a title given to the kingdom’s strongest mage.
Afterward, they vowed to fight for the spot of the next Wizard King.
As they grew older, however, the stark contrast between them became apparent.
While Yuno can wield magic with incredible strength and control, Asta is unable to do so and must rely on physical training to reawaken his power.
Yuno is given a magnificent Grimoire with a four-leaf clover when they reach the age of 15, while Asta is given nothing.
Soon after, Yuno is assaulted by a man called Lebuty, who is primarily interested in Yuno’s Grimoire. Asta attempts to tackle Lebuty, but he is defeated.
When he hears Yuno’s voice, he finds the power to continue even though he is hopeless and on the edge of collapse.
Triggering his inner emotions in a rage, Asta receives a five-leaf clover Grimoire, a “Black Clover,” giving him enough power to defeat Lebuty.
After a few days, the two friends set off into the world with the same target in mind: becoming the Wizard King!
