She loves her children and perhaps just a bit afraid of her children becoming well, normal.

Pugsley
Pugsley is the eldest child of Gomez and Morticia. Charles Addams described him as having “blonde red hair” and “poppy blue eyes” He is a “monster of a boy”. He likes to play with his sister Wednesday. They both share a strong penchant for torturing devices. Pugsley personally likes Guillotine. He has a pet octopus. Once he was seen poisoning his sister as a joke.
Uncle Fester
Uncle Fester is one of the constant characters. He is weirdly good at electrical conduction. He is a super chubby man with deep-seated black eyes, a bald head, and hunched back. He loves fishing and usually uses dynamite as bait. Sometimes he gets a terrible headache and then he puts his head through a screw press to fix the pain.
Lurch – the Butler
Lurch is the faithful family of Butler. He helps with everything in the house. He is typically called by a hangman’s noose bell pull and he shows up and unmistakably asks, ” You rang?”
Lurch is described as tall as a tower, a shambling man with scanty hair. He shares the Addams family’s deepest love for macabre and often is described as vivacious by the family members.
The Thing
The thing refers to a severed hand that roamed around the house, as a kind of ” Hand servant”.
Though no specific origination of the thing is mentioned, there are plenty of stories. One such story is that the entire body of the Thing was so disfigured and grotesque, nobody could bear to look at it but the hand.
The Thing had always been a part of the family.
Apart from the above-mentioned characters, Morticia’s twin sister, cousin It, Morticia’s mother grandmother Frump were recurring characters.

This iconic family gained immense popularity and fabs simply couldn’t get enough of it. Quickly it became a television show in 1964 and was created by David Levy and Donald Saltzman.
